Dr. Stuart Kleeman

Stuart is the grandfather of Zach, who passed away at the age of 16 in 2021 from a form of bone cancer, Osteosarcoma.  As a pediatrician, Stuart was active in Zach’s care from his birth, until he passed away.  Now he is helping honor Zach’s legacy and the mission of Zach’s Bridge to help families facing pediatric cancer. 

Stuart is a retired pediatric nephrologist.  He was a partner in a pediatric practice in Middletown NY for 30 years, and more recently has taught at the Boston University School of Medicine.  He holds a MD from Yale University and a BA from Brown University.   He is married to his wife Terry of more than 50 years, and enjoys spending time with his family, his 3 dogs and working on a range of hobbies including collecting and making scale miniatures.
