Megan Mooney, MS, OTR/L
Director
Megan has dedicated her career as an Occupational Therapist to supporting adults and families living with mental health challenges. After graduating with her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Boston University’s Sargent College, she spent over 8 years nurturing McLean’s Community Support Program for adults with mental health challenges, Waverley Place. She then went on to the Department of Mental Health’s Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital where she spent several years directing and re-designing their vocational rehabilitation program.
For the past 3 years she has been heavily involved at Advocates, Inc. supporting the community and agency in various roles from Assistant Clinical Director, to Director of Best Practices, to now doing what she loves best – serving as a clinician at the Wellness Collaborative and working directly with individuals as a therapist for adults and children in the community, helping them navigate how to heal and move forward in their recovery. At the heart of her work, she believes connection and a sense of community is essential for healing.
