Connection and Compassion When It's Needed Most

It’s been a while since our last update, and we’re excited to share real-world feedback from parents receiving support through Zach’s Bridge, as well as from pediatric oncology social workers. We invite you to take a moment to learn how we provide 1:1 peer support for late-stage and bereaved childhood cancer parents and caregivers—offering connection and compassion when it’s needed most.

This year, we’ve expanded our operations significantly. We now have 20 trained peer mentors, including a native Spanish-speaking mentor, ready to support late-stage and bereaved parents and caregivers. In 2025, we’ve supported 40 families, including our first support seeker from Japan.

Below, you’ll also find helpful links to learn more about Zach’s Bridge, explore curated resources specifically for late-stage and bereaved families, and connect the parents you serve to peer support. If your team has never had a briefing—or if you’d like an update—you can easily schedule time with us using the links provided. Please feel free to share this page with your colleagues, and reach out anytime with questions.

As we learned from Zach: Keep Moving Forward.
