Steve Morin
Board Director | Advancement
Steve has spent his entire career working with generous people to create greater good in the world. A naturally curious and creative person at heart, he takes a bold and innovative approach to everything he does. From helping to build his first house at eight years old to helping to create and lead nine and ten-figure campaigns, he understands the power of people working together to make goals come to fruition. Increasingly more mission driven as his 30+ year career moved along—From a small Methodist theology school (Boston University) to an evening law school designed to help working families and those new to America (Suffolk University) to a school where more than 40% of its students are first-generation college students (University of New Haven)—he has been fortunate to partner with some of the most incredibly philanthropic people in the world.
He graduated from Bates College with a B.A. in History and from Northeastern University with a M.A. in Political Science. He will be the first to say, however, that his most meaningful education has come from his experiences becoming an amateur sports psychologist; having coached more than 40 youth sports teams; his love for cooking and photography; and his willingness to always learn something new (as evidenced by his now taking pottery classes). His dog, Harley, importantly, gives him a high rating as a trusted companion.
